Ahuva Levitt, MA (she/her) is a Psychology Intern in Pediatric Psychology at Primary Care Psychology Associates.
Currently in the final year of her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Adler University, Ahuva holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Touro University-Chicago and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Adler University.
Ahuva brings extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of clinical settings, including university hospitals, private practices, and community mental health clinics. She is adept at providing individual, family, and group
interventions. Her clinical interests focus on supporting individuals and families experiencing acute and chronic reactions to traumatic stress, as well as addressing mood and anxiety-related difficulties, emotional dysregulation, learning and developmental disabilities, and sexual violence intervention and prevention.
Ahuva is dedicated to recognizing each patient’s unique concerns, needs, and goals. She maintains a welcoming and empathetic approach during therapy, striving to understand her patients and collaborate with them to enhance their overall well-being. She utilizes a relational approach to patient change that integrates humanistic, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and psychodynamic theories, Ahuva works with her patients to leverage their strengths and values in alleviating their presenting concerns and discomfort.
